Follow up to Cora's surgery

Cora did a wonderful job with her surgery. Not a tear was shed. The results came back as a reactive lymph node. Thank God! She is back to school and feeling great. Her stitches will be taken out next Friday. All is well!

Cora's Surgery

For those of you that don't know, Cora is having surgery tomorrow. She has had large lymph nodes in her neck since she was a toddler. After many years of blood tests and antibiotics her Pediatrician decided to refer her to an ENT, Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. Dr. Flowers at York ENT Associates evaluated her and decided to remove the largest lymph node and have it tested. He is pretty sure that the lymph nodes all have been used from fighting off an infection and are taking forever to reduce in size. He compared it to an old factory that once was a working factory and is now sitting vacant. Tomorrow morning we will be arriving at the York Hospital at 6:15 am. Her surgery will start at 7:45 am. Dr. Flowers said it will be out patient as long as all goes as planned. I am thinking we should be home before 1:00 pm. I will update on Thursday when I get back to work. Have a wonderful evening. Say a prayer for Cora!!

Long time no write...

Well, what a long time it has been. First off, I am officially Mrs. Bailey. Kenny and I got married on June 20th. Married life is wonderful! So far, so good. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and turned out just the way I wanted it and more. The weather was great after a 15 minute down pour right when I went to get out of the car. It cleared up wonderfully and pictures were able to be outside. I will have to post some pictures when I get a chance.
Cora and Rosalyn are both done softball. Both feel differently about it ending. Cora couldn't be happier. We pretty much made her play the last few games. She didn't want anything to do with it and made that very clear. Rosalyn on the other hand became very interested in the whole sport and misses her teammates a lot. Rosa will probably play next year. Cora will explore something else or stick to the flute.
Kenny and I are slowly house hunting. We have a few minor things that need fixed up in the house. We'll be fixing things up and hopefully moving on. Time to get a "new" house for a fresh start for the new family.
I am also looking for a new home for our 2 cats. Rosalyn is becoming allergic to them. It is really starting to affect her daily life. If anyone would like a cat let me know! They are bother and sister. Gilbert, the boy is black and white. Gidget, the girl is a calico. Both fixed and declawed.
On that note, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer. See you all later!

Update on the Bailey-Wagner Household

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful spring. We are so far. The wedding plans are coming along great. Kenny and I are both becoming extremely excited. As some of you may have know we "adopted" 2 labs at the beginning of the year. Bailey, chocolate and Deisel, black. Brothers. As they were getting older they started having some dominance issues. After some discussion, a lot of barking and pee messes we gave, Diesel, the black one away. The house is much calmer now. No pee messes and no crazy barking. Individually both dogs are great. Together it was pure competition. Bailey is adjusting great. He is definitely a people doggy. With us all the time.
The girls are still excited about softball. A lot of their practices have been cancelled because of the wonderful spring weather. We went to Walmart last night to get them both batting helmets. They were wearing them in the car on the way home saying,"Look! We're bobble heads!" They are hilarious! They both earned straight A's in the third marking period. Cora is still playing the flute. She plays very well and enjoys it also. Her first show is May 16th @ 8pm. We'll still be at your wedding Britt!
Well, I hope to see everyone soon. Have a wonderful day!

Softball

Cora and Rosa have decided to try Softball this year. This is the first sport for both of them. They are both doing very well for being beginners. Between Kenny and Jeremy the girls get to their practices every week. They are on separate teams. Same 2 locations, at the same day and time, on different days. That doesn't make much sense. Oh well. We'll see what this spring and summer have to being us. Good Luck Girls!!! Love Ya!!!
